Aretha Franklin’s 1985 album 30 Greatest Hits shot to No. 7 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, just four days after her death from pancreatic cancer in Detroit. As Billboard reports, the album moved 35,000 copies this week, with the vast majority coming on August 16, the day of her death. Considering August 16 was the final day of the tracking week, it seems likely that the album will chart even higher next week.
